Everything an hourly crew runs on

One app for the schedule, the time clock, time off, timesheets, new-hire paperwork and the messages in between. Points marked Crew or Complete come with those plans.

Scheduling

Build the week, publish it, and everyone knows where they need to be.

  • Build the week by person and role, then publish it. Everyone on it is told.
  • Copy a past week and adjust it, or go back to the last published version.
  • Employees set their availability and one-off exceptions for you to approve.
  • Employees can ask to swap or give away a shift, and you approve it.
  • Open shifts your crew can claim, with your approval if you want it.Crew
  • Call-outs and cover: ask the crew, and they volunteer in the app or reply YES to a text.Crew

Time clock

Clock in from a phone, or turn a tablet into the shop’s time clock.

  • Clock in and out and take breaks from a phone. The location is recorded with each punch.
  • Set up a tablet as a time clock. Each person punches in with their own PIN.
  • No signal? Punches wait on the phone and send when it is back, with the time they were made.
  • A geofence for each location, and an optional photo at clock-in.Crew
  • Reminders for a missed clock-in or clock-out.Crew

Time off and sick leave

Requests, approvals and balances, with accrual policies set your way.

  • Employees request time off from their phone; you approve or deny it.
  • Paid time off and sick leave that accrue your way: a lump sum or per hours worked, with first-year proration, carryover and waiting periods.Crew
  • Your business address tells Schedules your state, and a sick-leave policy is checked against that state’s minimum before you save. Washington is supported today, with more states on the way. In other states you set the policy yourself.Crew
  • Meal and rest break rules with presets by state, as a starting point you can edit.Crew

Timesheets and payroll exports

Hours you can approve and hand to payroll without retyping them.

  • Timecards with overtime, counted weekly or daily and weekly.
  • Approve, reject or reopen a timesheet.
  • Send hours to QuickBooks Online as time activities for a pay period.
  • Download hours for Gusto or ADP RUN to import, or as CSV, Excel or PDF.
